As you will no doubt be aware there are concerns around the COVID-19 virus and its impact on our daily lives. Like everyone, we’ve been gathering as much information as possible about the impact of the Coronavirus (Covid-19). We have taken advice from trusted sources, working out how we best protect our guests, our communities and our associates.
We would like to reassure you that we are going to exceptional lengths within our business to ensure there is as little disruption as possible during this period.
As you can imagine, our dealership facilities are our ‘shop window’ and have always been exceptionally clean environments to visit and work in and continues to be even more so now. Our cleaning and hygiene team are in at least every weekday. In addition, our showroom host will be asking all guests to wash their hands on arrival and departure and every team member will be attending a morning meeting held by our General Manager. Here, they will discuss if they have any viral symptoms. If they have they will be asked to go home for 7 days as per the NHS Guidelines.
Bring to You - Home Test Drive Programme
In light of the current epidemic and Coronavirus (COVID-19) we have had multiple requests from our guests to test-drive vehicles at their own residential address. We stand ready to do this now with our 'Bring to You - Home Test Drive Programme'.
Please be assured that our associates will be taking all the necessary and advised COVID-19 precautions when they visit your residential address at the agreed appointment time. In addition to these precautions, we will be using TUNAP (an anti-bacterial agent added through the car's air-con) in our vehicles which kills 99% of bacteria thanks to a process known as denaturation.
Vehicle Sales Department
We are operating a number of self-contained consultation rooms should you wish for a more private appointment to discuss your requirements, these are furnished with the same comforts you would expect when visiting us in more normal times including Tea, Coffee and light refreshments.
We do of course completely understand that some of you will still feel better being in your own home, therefore if you are interested in a particular vehicle, you can reserve online, and we can bring the car to you to test drive to make an informed decision. This will be done by one of our knowledgeable associates who will be able to answer any questions about the chosen vehicle.
In the aftersales department, we have doubled the number of courtesy cars available for use*, as again you may feel more comfortable using one of these rather than waiting at our dealership. This includes use for a short period of time, so for example, if you want to go home during a service you can either use one of the vehicles or one of our service advisors will drop you off and pick you up again. Alternatively, you can request for us to pick up your vehicle – do the required work and drop it off again – at no extra cost to you. Our paperwork and invoicing process is also paperless, so all receipts and records can be emailed to you directly. If you do not have email or internet access we will of course forward all in the post to you.
